Angela Ahrendts, presto ex-CEO di Burberry, ieri, secondo il Daily Mail, diventa la "Dama dell'Impero Britannico". Diventerà una Dama dell'Impero Britannico in una cerimonia "low-key" secondo il giornale britannico, per i suoi contributi alle imprese.
La Regina non sarà presente, a quanto pare. Il segretario del governo Vince Cable sarà invece portavoce del procedimento. Secondo il Daily Mail, Ahrendts ha fatto una grande impresa con il suo restauro del marchio Burberry. Il Daily Mail ritiene inoltre che Ahrendts si unirà ad Apple questo mese.
Mr Cable will pay tribute to the mother of three, from Indiana, describing her as a ‘landmark figure in business’ and a ‘powerful role model to the next generation of young British talent.’
Egli ha detto: ‘She has revitalised this iconic British brand with flair and cutting edge innovation, allied with sound commercial acumen.’
